U.S. Russian Summit in Alaska Ends with No New Deal on Ukraine
Alaska summit between President Trump and President Putin ends with no new peace agreement for the war in Ukraine.

What Happened?
The high-profile meeting in Alaska this weekend between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladmir Putin came to an end with no new deals being brokered for the war in Ukraine. Despite the lack of a new peace agreement to end or even temporarily halt the war in Ukraine, President Putin called the talks ‘productive’ and President Trump said that even though ‘we didn’t get there’ he believes we could in a future meeting.
At the end of the meeting, President Putin said to President Trump in English, ‘Next time maybe Moscow,’ indicating there could be a second summit between the two leaders in Russia.
Why it Matters
The meeting in Alaska did not include Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, though President Trump did speak to him prior to the Alaska summit virtually. Mr. Trump said before the conference he would be happy with ‘some form of ceasefire’ and seemed optimistic one could be achieved. Though after the meeting he appeared much less confident about the potential to bring a swift end to the war in Ukraine.
Mr. Putin used the meeting as an opportunity to repeat his claims about Ukraine being a threat to Russian security. While it’s true Russia does have legitimate security interests in Ukraine, particularly in the eastern most portions of the country, Mr. Putin’s characterization of Ukraine’s history is distorted and inaccurate.
Anyone who invested in Palantir at IPO in 2021 could be sitting on 2,500% gains right now.
A great return, but that’s already in the past.
And while Palantir was climbing, another company was building something potentially more explosive.*
Mode Mobile has already delivered 32,481% revenue growth before even going public.
Mode has:
● 50M+ users
● $325M+ paid to users
● $75M in real revenue

Mode’s model pays users for their screen time and turns Big Tech’s free data mining play into a cash-generating engine for everyone.
Palantir now trades at 245× forward earnings, which means Wall Street has already priced in massive expectations.
But Mode?
Still private.
That means the market hasn’t had its say yet.
Right now, everyday investors (not just insiders) can get Mode shares at early-stage pricing.
When the Nasdaq ticker goes live, that window could close fast.
Palantir’s moment has passed.
Mode’s may just be starting.
But their pre-IPO offering is over 95% full…
Despite Mr. Putin’s claim to the contrary, Ukraine has had a distinct language and culture for centuries. And the proof can be found in Russia’s own history books, where a long history of Czar’s trying to stamp out Ukrainian independence can be found. Those efforts included banning both the Ukrainian language and cultural practices.
While the talks in Alaska were underway, Russian combat operations in Ukraine intensified. Mr. Putin’s praise of Mr. Trump was likely given because Mr. Putin thinks that’s what Mr. Trump wanted to hear. Mr. Putin, a former KGB agent, was trained like all KGB agents to find out what their target wants and use that to get them to do what they want them to. Mr. Trump seemed to genuinely believe a cease fire agreement was possible, but it is likely Mr. Putin never had any intention of halting combat operations against Ukraine.
The exact text of what the two leaders said to each other has not been made public, and the statements they gave to the media were in line with what each had said previously. Meaning the Alaska summit didn’t add anything new to the discussion about ending the war in Ukraine.
How it Affects You
With no cease fire deal or new peace agreement in Alaska, it is likely the fighting between Russia and Ukraine will continue for the foreseeable future. Though both Russians and Ukrainians are war weary, neither are ready to concede territory to the other. Until that changes, the fighting will continue.
