Trump Drops F-Bomb Over Ceasefire Collapse Between Iran and Israel
President Trump used an expletive when addressing the media on Tuesday over frustrations from Israel and Iran over violations of an imposed ceasefire agreement.

What Happened?
President Donald Trump expressed exasperation toward Israel and Iran on Tuesday following the collapse of a ceasefire deal announced hours earlier on social media.
Before departing from the White House for a NATO summit Tuesday morning, President Trump said, 'We have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f‑‑‑ they’re doing.'
The use of an expletive comes as Trump stated both sides violated what he called a 'complete and total' ceasefire announced Monday evening.
'Iran violated it but Israel violated it too. Israel, as soon as we made the deal, they came out and they dropped a load of bombs the likes of which I’ve never seen before,' he said. 'The biggest load that we’ve seen.'
Once the ceasefire took effect, Trump urged the two sides on Truth Social to 'PLEASE DO NOT VIOLATE IT!'
Both sides reportedly accused each other of violating the agreement.
Israel claimed that Iran violated the ceasefire three times with missile attacks that Iranian officials had denied.
According to The Associated Press, an Israeli official stated that two Iranian missiles fired at Israel were intercepted.
Israel's finance minister vowed that 'Tehran will tremble' following the alleged acts once the ceasefire took effect.
Netanyahu’s office stated the prime minister held off on 'tougher strikes' against Iran after speaking to President Trump by phone.
Israel reportedly said it hit a radar array near Tehran but turned its warplanes around following the call.
Why it Matters
Trump told NBC News during a call phone interview that he believed 'the ceasefire is unlimited. It’s going to go forever.'
An effort that Trump had hoped for a day after officials announced that Iran had fired multiple missiles toward the U.S. military Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
Iran carried out the planned attack in retaliation to U.S. strikes on its three nuclear sites over the weekend.
Although the strikes were intercepted and did not result in any deaths or injuries, they reportedly matched the number of bombs dropped on Saturday by the U.S. on the Iranian nuclear sites.
The Israeli military also fired strikes on Monday at six airports across Iran, destroying 15 aircraft and helicopters.
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday noted the escalating Israel and Iran conflict with 'extra-regional powers' was 'bringing the world to a very dangerous line.'
He and China's President Xi Jinping expressed their desire to help the Iranian people and de-escalate the rising conflict, which can essentially strain global affairs.
How it Affects You
It's still unclear if Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei will truly reverse course from the U.S. strikes, which he said would 'undoubtedly be accompanied by irreparable damage.'
Those Trump said were to ensure 'Iran will never rebuild their nuclear facilities.'
He also suggested that 'China can now continue to purchase oil from Iran' despite the future of the Strait of Hormuz appearing unknown.
Around 20% of the world's oil passes through the shipping route that Iran’s parliament has voted to close pending Khamenei's final decision.
If the Trump administration is unable to commit the two sides to an unconditional ceasefire, the results could have profound economic consequences.
It could also hinder any progress made with China and Russia to establish strong ties.
