Meta Introduces New Artificial Intelligence Program Muse Spark
Meta unveils new Muse Spark artificial intelligence program to replace its Llama model.

What Happened?
Tech giant Meta has announced the release of a new artificial intelligence (AI) program named Muse Spark. The new AI program will initially be available only on the Meta AI application and website. In the next few weeks, Meta said Muse Spark will replace the existing Llama models powering chatbots on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and Meta's collection of smart glasses.
According to Meta, Muse Spark is a natively multimodal reasoning model with support for tool-use, visual chain of thought, and multi-agent orchestration. Meta went on to say that Muse Spark is the first step on their scaling ladder and the first product of a ground-up overhaul of Meta’s AI efforts.
Why it Matters
Meta remains relatively late to the AI race since so many of its competitors have already launched programs that currently dominate the market. There is a growing constellation of AI programs available for users worldwide, and though Meta is behind its competitors in the AI arena, it could still catch up if the new Muse Spark program performs well enough to meet or exceed expectations.
Elon and Apple just made waves for US #1 software company
Apple just enabled Starlink satellite support to T-Mobile iPhones.
One of the biggest potential winners from global satellite coverage?
Just about everything Elon touches turns to gold:
SpaceX projected IPO at $1.75T
Tesla up by over 30,000% since IPO
And now - iPhone’s get satellite access
But while Wall Street focuses on Apple, Mode Mobile is quietly positioned to capitalize on this global satellite revolution.
Their EarnPhone technology already:
Reaches 490M+ users worldwide
Helped those users save and earn over $1 billion
Grew revenue 32,481%
And that was before global satellite coverage.
With SpaceX eliminating "dead zones," Mode's earning technology can reach 3B+ unbanked people globally in rural populations worldwide.
We’re talking about emerging markets with no infrastructure.
Right now, you can still invest at $0.50/share.
Over 59,000 shareholders have already claimed their shares and they’ve just secured the $MODE ticker from Nasdaq. The time to invest is now, before any potential IPO.*
Even with the late entry, Meta appears to be taking a cautious approach to its new AI program. On a recent blog post, Meta stated that ‘This initial model is small and fast by design, yet capable enough to reason through complex questions in science, math, and health.’ Meta also said the next generation of Muse Spark is already in development, but that could convince potential users to simply wait for a better model to be released.
The release of Muse Spark is important to Meta because the company has devoted significant resources into its development. Last year, Meta hired Scale AI CEO Alex Wang as part of a $14.3 billion deal while offering key engineers pay packages in the hundreds of millions of dollars to staff Meta’s new superintelligence team. Muse Spark is the first new product that team has made available to the public.
Like many tech companies, Meta is betting that AI programs capable of performing everyday tasks will be appealing to more potential users. For example, agentic AI programs can already create presentations, schedule meetings, or even make travel arrangements. Though Meta claims that Muse Spark is capable of more complex tasks, the majority of potential users would most likely find everyday applications more practical because those are the kinds of activities most commonly performed and easily delegated.
Meta also indicated Muse Spark could be used by consumers for shopping, which has been a major growth category for existing AI programs. Last year, retailers reported that AI-enabled shopping increased by eight hundred percent, the largest single-year increase on record so far.
How it Affects You
Though the popularity of AI continues to increase, the long-term wisdom of massive technology investments in AI infrastructure will take years to fully evaluate. Despite nearly a trillion dollars invested in AI infrastructure already, AI companies collectively earned around fifty billion in direct AI-generated revenue last year, a small fraction of the up-front investment.
