Israel Launches New Ground Offensive Against Hamas in Gaza
Israel launches new ground offensive against Hamas as part of the planned takeover of Gaza.
What Happened?
The Israeli military has launched a new ground operation against Hamas in Gaza City as part of its plan to establish a complete takeover of the Gaza Strip. To support and sustain the new campaign, Israel also issued orders calling up an additional 60,000 reservists to military duty. In addition to calling up more reservists, those already on duty will have their service extended according to Israel’s Minister of Defense.
‘We have begun the preliminary actions and the initial stages of the offensive on Gaza City, and already now IDF forces are holding positions on the outskirts of Gaza City,’ Israeli military spokesman Effie Defrin said on Wednesday.
Why it Matters
The new ground operation in Gaza by Israel comes as several European nations have pledged to recognize a Palestinian state during the next General Assembly of the United Nations in September. In addition to a new offensive in Gaza, Israel has also approved a new settlement plan that if implemented would effectively divide the West Bank in two.
Palantir: 2,500% gains. Mode: 32,481% growth.
Anyone who invested in Palantir at IPO in 2021 could be sitting on 2,500% gains right now.
A great return, but that’s already in the past.
And while Palantir was climbing, another company was building something potentially more explosive.*
Mode Mobile has already delivered 32,481% revenue growth before even going public.
Mode has:
● 50M+ users
● $325M+ paid to users
● $75M in real revenue
● Nasdaq ticker secured for potential IPO
● Pre-IPO shares available at just $0.30/share
Mode’s model pays users for their screen time and turns Big Tech’s free data mining play into a cash-generating engine for everyone.
Palantir now trades at 245× forward earnings, which means Wall Street has already priced in massive expectations.
But Mode?
Still private.
That means the market hasn’t had its say yet.
Right now, everyday investors (not just insiders) can get Mode shares at early-stage pricing.
When the Nasdaq ticker goes live, that window could close fast.
Palantir’s moment has passed.
Mode’s may just be starting.
But their pre-IPO offering is over 95% full…
The joint moves by Israel appear to be part of a plan designed to make any recognition of a Palestinian state a diplomatic formality rather than a new reality on the ground. By intensifying the assault on Hamas and dividing up the West Bank, Israel’s plan would effectively make a notional Palestinian state nearly impossible to actually achieve.
International pressure has increased on both Hamas and Israel to end the war, but the new actions by Israel have elicited the most outcry. The United Nation’s Human Rights Office issued a statement saying, ‘Israel’s reported decision to take full control of Gaza City and to forcibly displace its population will lead to mass killings of civilians.’ Similar statements have been made by the leaders of several European countries.
The Trump Administration continues to support Israel’s actions, saying that the ultimate end goal is to disarm Hamas and remove it from power. Calls to disarm Hamas have also grown in the Middle East, especially from Egypt, which is the most populous and important country in the Arab world. Yet despite growing pressure on all sides, Hamas continues to hold Israeli hostages and refuses to relinquish power.
Meanwhile mass protests have broken out in Israel, the largest such demonstrations since the war began in 2023. Most protestors are calling for the immediate return of the hostages, but some are also critical of the way Israel’s government is running the war in Gaza.
How it Affects You
Large scale ground operations in Gaza by the Israeli military have had mixed results in the past, and there is no guarantee this one will be successful. Hamas lacks the weapons with which to reach Israel’s Air Force, but they are capable of inflicting damage on Israeli ground troops.
*Mode Mobile recently received their ticker reservation with Nasdaq ($MODE), indicating an intent to IPO in the next 24 months. An intent to IPO is no guarantee that an actual IPO will occur.
