India’s Prime Minister Modi Announces Plans to Build New Space Station
India’s Prime Minister Modi announces ambitious plan for new space station and moon landing by 2040.

What Happened?
During India’s Independence Day address, Prime Minister Modi announced plans for India to expand its space program, including a new space station by 2035 and landing on the moon by 2040.
The announcement follows recent accomplishments by Indian astronauts, including the completion of a 20-day mission, including 18 days aboard the International Space Station, which marked India’s first human spaceflight since that of Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma in 1984.
India’s Minister of Science, Dr. Jitendra Singh, added ‘India’s quantum leap in space research has been only possible due to the courageous decision to open up or unlock the space sector from the shackles of the past.’
Why it Matters
If India is successful in meeting Prime Minister Modi’s goals, India would join an elite group of spacefaring nations including the United States, Russia, and China.
India has already demonstrated a growing space program in the past decade. India’s first mission to the moon with the Chandrayaan-1 in 2008 discovered the presence of water molecules on the moon, fundamentally altering lunar geological history.
Anyone who invested in Palantir at IPO in 2021 could be sitting on 2,500% gains right now.
A great return, but that’s already in the past.
And while Palantir was climbing, another company was building something potentially more explosive.*
Mode Mobile has already delivered 32,481% revenue growth before even going public.
Mode has:
● 50M+ users
● $325M+ paid to users
● $75M in real revenue
● Nasdaq ticker secured for potential IPO
● Pre-IPO shares available at just $0.30/share
Mode’s model pays users for their screen time and turns Big Tech’s free data mining play into a cash-generating engine for everyone.
Palantir now trades at 245× forward earnings, which means Wall Street has already priced in massive expectations.
But Mode?
Still private.
That means the market hasn’t had its say yet.
Right now, everyday investors (not just insiders) can get Mode shares at early-stage pricing.
When the Nasdaq ticker goes live, that window could close fast.
Palantir’s moment has passed.
Mode’s may just be starting.
But their pre-IPO offering is over 95% full…
On the whole India is undergoing a large and widespread period of modernization and industrialization designed to make India’s economy more competitive for the twenty-first century. Now the world’s most populous nation, India is home to a growing number of highly educated young people looking for jobs and opportunities to apply their skills.
The scale of the challenge is vast simply because of the size of the population. For example, in India’s last election, more people voted than the entire population of the United States.
Space programs are expensive, and critics often claim that money spent developing rockets and space stations could be better spent on earth. But there are a wide range of practical economic benefits to developing a successful space program.
NASA invented hundreds of new technologies which are now part of everyday life for millions of people, and all of those inventions were developed by solving problems related to manned or unmanned spaceflight.
In particular, manned space programs can serve as a source of national pride and inspiration, especially for young people. Entire generations of Americans and Russians were inspired to become engineers and scientists during the space race of the 1950s and 60s.
Prime Minister Modi likely hopes that a growing space program will create both economic benefits and social progress for India.
How it Affects You
Space exploration now has two tracks, scientific exploration and commercial development. Both have been growing significantly in the past decade and that trend is likely to continue.
By setting a high bar for a space program, Prime Minister Modi is positioning India to be a major player in the continued growth of commercial and scientific space exploration.
*Mode Mobile recently received their ticker reservation with Nasdaq ($MODE), indicating an intent to IPO in the next 24 months. An intent to IPO is no guarantee that an actual IPO will occur.
